Sally Hawkins, PMP, President, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Sally Hawkins currently works as a Project Manager in the Financial Systems area at Unum. She holds a Bachelors degree Economics and a MBA from Clemson University. Sally has over 10 years experience managing financial software projects. Her background includes accounting, manufacturing and insurance. Sally earned her PMP in 2004.
Vickie Dean, PMP, VP of Programs, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Vickie Dean currently works as a Project Manager in the Financial Systems area at Unum. She holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of West Florida. Vickie has 10 years experience managing financial software projects. Her background includes 15 years experience in public Accounting and manufacturing.Vickie earned her PMP after completing the Velociteach course in 2004. She also holds the Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) designation.
Tom May, PMP, VP of Communications, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Tom May is a senior IT consultant with The Effectiveness Group headquartered in Tampa, Fl. Tom has over 25 years in systems development and project management in financial services, transportation, and media. He has led projects in the areas of CRM, web development, mergers / acquisitions, and disaster recovery planning and implementation. Tom holds a Bachelors degree in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia. Tom earned his PMP in May 2005.
M. Denise Langford, MPM, PMP, VP of Membership, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Denise Langford is a civil engineer with masters in project management and over 15 years of construction management and project management experience with projects ranging from $2,000 to $2 million. Her background includes planning, contract negations and cost control related to environmental design and construction issues.Denise earned her PMP after completing the Women in Project Management (WiPM) eStudy Group in 2004. She is an active member of WiPM SIG, WiPM eStudy Group and Design Procurement Construction SIG.
Bryan Crowe, PMP, VP of Development and Training, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Bryan Crowe graduated from UT-Knoxville with a BS in Business Administration concentration in Economics. He was certified as a PMP in 2002. For the past 18 years he has worked around the United States (from New Mexico to Washington D.C. and from Washington State to Florida) and Western Canada designing, implementing, operating, and training Management Control Systems.Industries he has supported include Construction, Environmental/Remediation, Nuclear, Petrochemical, and Utility. Clients he has supported include Department of Energy (DOE), Dow Chemical, Lockheed Martin, United States Enrichment Corporation, United States Corps of Engineers, TVA, and other major public and private entities.
Thomas Roark, PMP, VP of Finance, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Tom Roark is employed with IBM as a transition project manager and holds a BS degree in mathematics. Tom has 34 years of IT technical and project management experience managing a variety of projects. His project portfolio includes data center merger/moves, large business software installs/upgrades, and customer site installations. Currently, Tom specializes in eBusiness implementations.Tom has been PMP certified since 2003 and has been an active member of the Chattanooga PMI Chapter since 2006.
Terri Bucher, PMP, VP of Publicity, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Terri Bucher is a IT and Project Management professional with over 30 years of experience. With TVA for over 27 years she managed IT organanizations and projects with up to 90 people, and managed projects ranging from 6 months to 3 years with budgets ranging to over 3 million. She is a UTC alumini with a BS in Marketing. She is active in Chattanooga with her family, friends and St. Emo Community and is on the board with the Chattanooga Women Democrats.
Dianne Kean, PMP, Immediate Past President, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Dianne Kean has been in information technology for over 20 years and a project manager since 1992. Dianne became a certified project manager through the Project Management Institute in May of 2001. She has worked in various industries including government, manufacturing and insurance. She has just completed her tenure as President of Project Management Institute Chattanooga chapter and recently retired due to disability. She enjoys spending most of her time playing on the computer, reading, writing and spoiling her grandchildren.

Al Jarman, PMP, Director of Operations
Al currently serves as a Director within Unum’s Project Management Office where he has primary accountability for the management of Unum’s project portfolio including project governance as well as resource planning. During his tenure at Unum, he has held several positions within both corporate business and IT departments. Al has over 20 years of IT experience in various industries sectors such as service, education, retail, manufacturing, government, and insurance where he has held a variety of positions from project management, database management, programming and analysis, as well as operations. He has extensive experience in researching, planning, and ultimately implementing vendor software solutions in conjunction with the management of those vendor relationships.Al holds a BS in Mathematics from Lee University in 1986 as well as a MBA in Finance from UTC in 1997 where he was inducted in the Sigma Iota Epsilon honorary management fraternity. He received his PMP designation in 2004.
Chang Phuong, MS, PMP, Director of Web Communication, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Chang Phuong received his BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and completed the Graduate Certificate Program in Internet Application Programming. He was inducted in the Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines Chattanooga Chapter in 2003. He has worked in the IT field since 1994 in Systems Integration; Network Administration; Software Development; Systems Design and Architecture with OOAD using UML; and Project Management. He joined the Chattanooga .Net User Group in 2003 and has been a member of the Chattanooga PMI chapter since 2006 and a PMP since 2008.During his professional career, he has designed systems and managed projects in the areas of Document Management; Litigation and Broad Discovery; Electronic Billing; Data Mining and Predictive Analytics; Controls and Compliance such as Sarbanes Oxley; IT Risk Management; Project Management and Documentation; Business Rules; and Security.

Steve Corlew, MBA, PMP, Director, Strategic Planning, Co-founder, Trustee, Past President, Chattanooga PMI Chapter
Steve Corlew currently works as the ITIL Program/Project Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. He holds a Bachelors degree in Management, Marketing and Management Information Systems from the University of North Alabama and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Steve also holds certifications in Data Processing, Process Engineering and ITIL. Steve has over 30 years experience in large enterprise Information Technology including operations, development, planning and architecture. His background includes banking, utilities and insurance.Steve earned his PMP in 2000 and was a co-founder of the Chattanooga chapter, serving as the first president.
