Seminar - Project Management that Works

On June 12th 2009 the Chattanooga PMI Chapter sponsored a seminar with author and accomplished project management professional, Rick Morris based on his book titled; "Project Management that Works". Practical real world experiences and lessons learned made this event’s topics of communication, problem solving and other related project areas relatable and easy to understand. This successful seminar had Project attendees from local companies as well as from outside the Chattanooga area and earned the PMP attendees 8 PDU’s.

Not just for project manager practitioners, attendees at the June 12th 1-Day seminar, “Project Management that Works” presented by Rick Morris of R2 Consulting was treated to real world advice that offers practical techniques on how to deal with mandated dates, improve team estimates, deal with difficult sponsors and difficult situations.

This 8-hour training session reminded participants of the role of the project manager and why project managers are so very important in any industry to develop real project plans based on fact and data in today’s economy and beyond.
