The Chattanooga Chapter held our fall Social Event, November 1, 2007, at EPB. Sponsored by Unum, this event was free for Chattanooga PMI members and guest with a can good. Those in attendance enjoyed this evening event with a full catered meal and speaker, Katie Espeseth, EPB Vice President, Fiber to Home Division, speak on EPB’s new fiber optics program. Door prizes provided by Erlanger. Of course this was a party with a purpose.
The can good theme was developed in conjunction with the Thanksgiving Holiday to continue our chapter’s mission to support the local community. We collected over 200 pounds of can goods, which were donated to the local area food bank. In addition, the Chattanooga chapter presented a donation to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen and the local food bank totaling more than $1,200.
Please join me in thanking our sponsors for their wonderful support in making this event a success.
