PMP Certification

If you enjoy the prestige that comes from being the best in your field, then you’ll appreciate the professional advantages derived from attaining the Project Management Professional (PMP) status. The PMP designation following your name tells current and potential employers that you have a solid foundation of project management knowledge that can be readily applied in the workplace.

PMP Education

Project Management Professional (PMP®)

Eligibility for the PMP certification requires you to first meet specific education and experience requirements and agree to a code of professional conduct. The final step in becoming a PMP is passing a multiple-choice examination designed to objectively assess and measure your project management knowledge. This computer-based examination is administered globally.

In addition, those who have been granted PMP certification must demonstrate an ongoing professional commitment to the field of project management by satisfying PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements Program.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM™)

As project management grows in scope, importance, and recognition, so do the related career and certification options available to you. A logical stepping stone to the PMP and a boost to your overall professional development is the CAPM. The CAPM is intended for those practitioners who provide project management services but are relatively new to the profession. Obtaining your CAPM can go a long way toward enhancing your employment and/or project assignment responsibilities – and getting you recognized in the workplace!

Like the PMP, CAPM candidates must first meet specific education and experience requirements and then pass an examination.
