Welcome to the Chattanooga Chapter of the Project Management Institute. With nearly 250,000 members worldwide, the Project Management Institute (PMI) is the leading nonprofit professional association in the area of Project Management. PMI provides its members with many valuable benefits that help to promote their professional and career development, including conferences, publications, certification, and more.
One of the great strengths of PMI is the existence of local chapters. Chapters provide one-on-one contact with peers from various organizations and industries working in the project management field. Local chapters also advance the mission and objectives of PMI by promoting project management professionalism within local businesses, universities and professional organizations in the chapter area. Project management professionalism is enhanced through chapter activities, social gatherings and other educational programs designed to strengthen the knowledge, awareness and understanding of project management principles, tools and techniques.
As a growing chapter, we hope to provide a variety programs and speakers that will attract continued interest. PMI Chattanooga Chapter is a volunteer organization where members can gain value in professional development through teaching, presenting and serving as a board member. We look forward to hearing from our members with ideas and feedback. We can only continue to grow with your support. As always, please contact any officer if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Sally Souffrant, PMP
